Origin Story + A Message from our Founder

Welcome and thanks for taking the time to learn more about us!

Hello, I’m Todd Weinberg, Founder of KTCHN.

In the summer of 2023, I had, what I hope, was my last “mid-life crisis”. LOL!  I am a serial entrepreneur at heart and have founded several businesses over the years, but it was at this time that I felt I had one more big adventure to pursue before I hung it all up.  Never did I imagine it would be more exciting or terrifying than starting a Pickleball inspired lifestyle apparel brand from the ground up.

The idea for KTCHN came in a moment of absolute nirvana on a perfectly sunny SoCal day, while visiting my grown children for a family wknd getaway.  We love playing Pickleball together and while we were sitting on the grass waiting anxiously to get onto a court, I looked around and thought, I think I know what I’m supposed to do next!  I said to my family, “Pickleball needs some dope apparel to elevate the style around the sport!” I asked my kids to help me with a name and we all started throwing out Pickleball terminology.  As soon as I heard, “The Kitchen”, I knew we had it!  Thus, KTCHN was born.

It’s been an incredible journey thus far.  Everyone on the KTCHN team is an absolute rockstar at what they do and we are beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve YOU, our valued community of Pickleball enthusiasts!

Thank you for being the best part of KTCHN and for all of your support along the way.

Sincerely,

Todd Weinberg
